Afghan memory project
History begins at home. Each family has numerous photographs in their family albums, which can collectively form a history of the nation.
Afghan memory project aims to bring photographs from family archives, and create a people’s history. This is a project that relies entirely on the voluntary submission of your family photographs. It could be portraits of your grandfather, or the image of your house in the village, or just some cattle grazing on the hills. Together, we want to create an image of our past, our history.
