http://www.saladknife.com/ About Us

SaladKnife Inc is a web development company specializing in web2.0 properties, social media, and custom application development. Our products and services are offered under our five brand-names: 'Hype140,' 'Likes and Fans,' 'TubeTasty,' 'winLinked,' and 'FriendlyFriends.' Each brand is designed to serve one specific group of products to a narrow demographic.

So, what do we do exactly? Well, we make our clients artificially popular on social networking sites like Twitter, Youtube, Facebook, LinkedIn and Myspace. We're a mix between a P.R. firm, an internet marketing company, an I.T. consulting firm, and a Las Vegas magic-show. The vast majority of our products are geared towards up-and-coming artists, professionals, and small-business owners who simply want to "fake it 'till they make it."

Our slogan, "Stuff you don't really need." stems from the idea that most of our products are bought purely as indulgences by our clients. We aren't curing cancer, we're not providing food or shelter, or furthering a noble cause. Our clients purchase our products because they have excess money to spend and they want, not need, to experience the benefits of our services. This notion drives the development of our brands, keeps us with a strong sense of humility, and helps us hone our marketing campaigns and customer-service protocols.

We're a new company, founded in 2010 by Leslie L. Lewis, a recent UCLA graduate with a background in web-development, programming, and social-marketing campaigns. We're located in the San Francisco Bay Area, though we operate with the assistance of several hundred partners and affiliates from every corner of the globe.

Our flagship brand, 'Hype140.com,' was the first to launch publicly. 'Likes & Fans' is set to launch during early 2011, with the other three brands following in late winter.
