A 28-year-old Blackburn man spent a night in police cells because he stood in some dog poo.
Blackburn magistrates heard James Lucas was refused entry to the newly refurbished hostel where he was staying and was thrown out — putting him in breach of a curfew.
Lucas, of Canterbury Street, Blackburn, admitted breach of bail.
He was re-bailed without further penalty to be sentenced for vehicle interference at a later date.
