Have you ever tried working in a call center? It’s fun, exciting, you meet new people, new environment, new world. But when it comes to work, it’s stressful but worth the sweat. Imagine talking with different customers for 8 hours , and it’s even disappointing if you haven’t reach your goal at the end of the day when in fact you’ve been working really hard. Now here comes next day. You come in at work again, same old thing, still talking same hours a day. How does it feel? I tell you, you get thirsty and hungry once you have your break.
Talking about hunger, the most common food a call canter agent would order is breakfast food. Some would order corned beef, tocino, longganisa, or hotdog, and all these come with eggs. But isn’t it too boring to order the same meal all the time? It’s nice to try different food sometimes to get your satisfaction. Like for example, you can have chicken for 2 days, pork for the next 2 days and fish on the last day. It really depends on your interests. There are call centers in the Philippines that provide meals for their employees and that’s a big saving for the agent. They even provide snacks that really helps the agents and sometimes it’s a motivating factor for them to work. Some agents would bring food at work to save money of course especially during deadly days-meaning all you have in your pocket is enough fare to survive until the next pay day.
