Tuesday, 26 August 2008 So, If Money And The Human Condition Aren’t The Problem, What Is? Some things just aren’t there when you need them. Or if they are they are in limited supply when lots of people want the same thing. So money is there to enable the well off to get those few things for themselves rather than lose out to the others who want these things but don’t have the money. If you build a system that runs on money it means that commodities that are scarce go up in ‘value’ where as commodities that are plentiful or in over supply lose ‘value’. Capitalising on commodities, whether these are necessities such as food and water, or items of social value like jewellery or speciality things like art, has a good side in that it allows for the skills of mankind to have an overall beneficial drive towards a better and more fruitful society – that is if you believe that without tools like capitalism the world’s population would remain ignorant savages... It has a downside in that it devalues too many things too often to allow for a complete system to be in place that works for everyone under its aegis. It does look as if one power group has build this system in order to maintain control over all the ‘things’ that group needs to the exclusion of a large proportion of the rest of the World’s benefit. … and the truth is that is exactly what has happened… and is still happening. The realities of the structure are being changed but the power still remains in the hands of the few over the many. Non violent pressure from massed groups of people will change the way things are done but only if those people are willing to carry on the social structure that works whilst throwing away that which doesn’t. This way of changing society usually takes far longer than other direct methods because there is usually very little effect on those in power, mainly because whilst they have what they want they find it easy to ignore words – no matter how loud they are. Direct peaceful action which disrupts the economics of a country does tend to have a better effect but getting a country full of people to move their asses is hard work, especially if many of that country’s people are content with their lot… especially when they view what they have in comparison to many countries not to far from their backyards. If that country is tightly controlled by the economic set up, the plutocracy is a long standing system, bureaucracy is a group of people who stand between the plutocracy and those without – or are those who want the changes to come now but still rely on money as a core belief which allows control to be maintained by the plutocracy – then people are malleable… social causes get their ‘dander’ up but real fighting for life is something best left to the professionals… besides which society is trying to make people mellow so that there is less friction … better to send an angry letter. It seems that only by enacting a complete breakdown of society can any major changes take place otherwise most people are content because ‘now’ always seems better than ‘before’ – all the more so if the country they live in is one where power has had to be struggled and fought for by one group over another for years. So, over years and centuries a system is built that is an interlocking set of ways that doesn’t allow for a complete breakdown except in the most violent or repressed of incidences. Yet this system is completely controllable. There need never be a class who have nothing. Never need there be people who die from lack of something that is in supply. Never again those with whilst others die because they don’t have the money to buy what’s needed. Imagine calming down the human race whilst turning them on to the joys of being a human being on planet Earth. A dream. One of those idealistic futures of mankind where it all works out because it can. We are starting to see the global meaning of cooperation. Of clarity of word and deed. Of honesty of trading and of purpose. The equipment and desire is already there regarding a system rebuild – a service pack for Life I. A set of patches that work to update what we have now, the setup of which is inadequate to all our needs, that sorts out thewrinkles made from old material. Don’t throw away everything just because part of the man made operating system of life doesn’t work. But do sort out the bits that don’t work. It’s likely to happen though – throwing all of it away in order to remove the, perceived or even real, shackles. Using in-depth profiling tools for each person can only go so far in giving them what keeps them quiet. Situations can be controlled by media output but only if the media wants to, or are forced to, be part of the mechanism for control – and only if the population allows it through compromised standards, apathy or lack of knowledge of their true rights as defined by the majority of other humans on this planet. One day has to be planned for. The day of crossover where those ‘with’ cannot keep hold any more. Or where they have to share on an equal footing with rest of mankind… or will the man ‘with’ buy the power to give him ‘all’ whilst everyone else goes without? No. because it always goes pop, like an erupting spot, except it’s the real lives of, sometimes, millions of people. Let alone the animals and flora that get roasted because the system is inadequate and antiquated. Are the Chinese going to decide that they deserve everything? Are the Americans? The Russians? The Israeli’s? The Europeans? Or is it really true what The World Bank and others say? Does everyone want freedom and prosperity for every single person? They seem to be saying that’s what they want. Darvo. Non stop talking about trying to get to this point in time. But, as ‘they’ say ‘slowly slowly catch a monkey’ and, even, ‘don’t rock the boat’.

Play a tape recording, in a language that the child does not know and the child, if capable, can read the emotion from the sound of the voice. Short messages are read in a happy or a sad voice. On the table are two large smiley faces, except one is a sad face. As the child recognises the emotion they point to the card they think is appropriate. Before they are capable they point at random between the sad and the smiley face. As they get to hear the differences they put these differences to the right face, sad to sad, happy to happy. There is a twist. Some children hear the sad voice and point to the happy face using the happy card to cover the sad card. One explained the need to not show sadness but to cover it the minute it starts. Could it be true that those crossover moments are the causes of many a misunderstanding? Could it be that these moments are unknowns – areas of uncertainty? Could it be that at these times we turn to all those possible faces we have seen in other situations and try to find one that allows the crossover? Could it be that we take many of these moments from the actors we see on television – these moments being the sort of moment that make acting the skill that it is and which many programs focus on for this very reason?

Large Scale Personal Voice Controlled Tools and Cost Effective Real Time Voice Controlled Add-ons for Individuals and Groups in Today's Society Removing the digital divide and the need to know how to use a computer by the addition of real time voice control. using various technologies and adding specialist tools based on corporate and military technology that could be used to help with the human race’s present and growing problems by presenting users with a clearer picture of the world around us and a better understanding of our own minds and our own needs, wants and desires in relation to those of each other, society and the rest of the world - on many levels. The addition of this voice layer coupled with other large scale tools such as automated infrastructure technology will also enable social capital tools to be put in place - these ‘tools’ have been researched with disaster in mind - whether personal, local, regional, national, international or global. This technology uses standard protocols and standard business equipment and standard globally accepted communication channels. It therefore requires no discussions or ‘five year conferences’ before agreement is reached on how to ‘work’ it. This will allow a world wide help system to be put in place faster than is governmentally possible. These add in’s are designed to be commercially viable from a relatively low scale. This technology uses computers. It is not designed to get rid of computers, just the need to know about them and how to use them in order to get the best out of the systems in place today. Your voice does what it can for you and the machinery is on your side. It acts in your best interests. With everything. What’s more other people can help just by adding their voice to yours. As you can for them. Just by talking. Well, that's what was writ then. So was this about the same time... So, what is this thing of mine? It’s a wide area network accessible from any phone and the wide area network is attached to a redundant array storage area network. (well, it was going to be then back in 2004!) So what does it do? Well… if you call it up it could just wait for you to ask something which it transcribes and then runs software on what you have said that understands text and returns a value, whether this value is the answer to a simple or complex question or the next stage of pinning down a result regarding the input… It might just be a simple form of diary…. or a statement of your highest emotions - what you can say to yourself by yourself about anything you like using any words you like…. this thing can sort out your rambling into some form of sense… in real time… give it time it does a better job…. anyway back to the point of this kit… pointless if all it does is take a voice and turn it into text…. except for what you can do with text nowadays… ask around… Unstructured text to sane, together stuff is easy nowadays…. ask autonomy or tibco or even IBM… they just open sourced all the kit needed to create the tools to build the interface needed…. Systems are now in place with Yahoo that use vlingo technology which enable many high end phone users to talk to their phones in order to many things they used to have to do using the ubiquitous 12 buttons. Nuance is looking to sue vlingo over patent infringement which might shut down the m.yahoo.com setup. Yes, but where is your help system? There is a major amount of help around now adays but in the UK help when you are ill or having problems is still a very hit and miss affair. Poverty is on the increase and the divide is getting wider. Crime seems to be how the UK government expects it's poorer citizen's to fund their daily lives - it seems to be a taken for granted value built into how the finances of this country works - look at how many of our past and present members of parliament pad their wages with dishonest add on's or lies on forms. ... that sounded a bit bitter... .. but there you go So that is why I am going to try to kick projectbrainsaver into full life - our voices combining to give us power over the system - finally. In 2004 talks with the UK (Cambridge) based firm Autonomy, and their Value Added Reseller (VAR) Okana, led to a 99.9% likelihood that this machinery could be built.
The costs, then, were large.
From the licenses for the technology from Autonomy (£2m pa) and the yearly maintainance fee (15% of license), plus the actual physical hardware hired in from PSINet Europe ($10,000 per month for 40,000 people), the building of the interface by Okana (Taking business worded technology and converting it into normal, everyday speak) (£400,000) and the ethical company build by Mishcon De Reya (£10,000 surety + c£400+ph), the financial build by Pricewaterhouse Coopers, and the staffing, marketing, etc, etc the whole deal came out at about - well work it out.
However, with £20 or more per month for the use of this kit, per person, meant that the return of investment (ROI) seemed to be excellent - especially with the right numbers of people.
Now it is an even easier task and will cost a fraction of what it would in 2004.

Remote management, Compliance, Project management, Laws, Regulations, standards, Vendors, ROI & cost justification, Budgeting, Outsourcing, DataCenter Over the last two years I have conducted research into the use of Autonomy IDOL's and DRE's along with Softsound's technology to allow voice control of services including automatic transcription (Although I have started fancying Nuance as a better contender for the voice to text side of this 'kit') which then leads to a raft of services based on the input from the account holder. From letter writing just by talking to asking and getting answers... this is the automated switchboard that links profile match with profile match as with Autonomy's use regarding the Commonwealth Institute... and much much more... My question/s

Autonomy can offer projectbrainsaver 100% understanding of what is said and, with minor amounts of questioning, quickly build a bank of that clients pronunciation to enable a 100% transcription rate 27/7/365. Aungate is an example of Autonomy realtime understanding of voice content. Your example “it is 1PM and a co-worker sticks his head in the door and says “Jeet yet?” is one of a type of example that Autonomy feature regarding their guessing technology that would understand, using Bayes theory and Shannon’s law, what was being said.
Both Nuance and Autonomy/Softsound have the ability to understand vast amounts of colloquial speech (and accuratly guess at the rest in Autonomy’s case) and both can optomise any language - #300,000 project cost get you an optimised language from Autonomy… enabling any user of that language to talk and achieve… it also adds the ability, in times of disaster, to use that constantly building understanding of that language to do such things as join members of families back together just by handing them a mobile phone - family members have something in common regarding their speech, father and son - mother and daughter - as do village members and regions.
Part of the build of projectbrainsaver was a firewall for human beings… a way of protecting the most vulnerable from the difficulties modern society can place with regard to information overload, dishonest practices, misinformation, best or worst specialist, etc.. even power over people people. Butterworth’s Law is catalogued by Autonomy and would be capable of building in to this kit as a whole enabling the system to know when something isn’t right before it pops through an elderly person’s door - As would all the laws, rules and regulations for any industry, country, organisation, etc - Aungate already covers litigation in the US, UK and other countries. Because of the build of this technology from Autonomy it is possible for it to ‘feed’ itself; Autonomy has the ability to automatically configure itself - it is known as atomated infrastructure technology.
One use of Autonomy technology can diagnose a patients illness within 95% accuracy first time on just listening to the patient’s description of their symptoms.
No, this can be done now… when you add a personal account that hold a long term databank of what you add into it… all that data to analyse regarding the actual meanings of the words that the client says…. Mmm.Filip De Graeve, ex manager of the Belgian EGovt build knew the core of projectbrainsaver kit could be done in February of 2003 using Lernout & howsbie technology - its the real time transcription that used to cause the problems but that died with P4 processors and above… fast computers with lots of hard drive and memory.
